Job Description
Our Client pairs their center-based ABA program with an in-house school, making it truly one-of-a-kind in the Indianapolis area. This collaborative and innovative approach to ABA allows children to work on communication as well as play, social, daily living, and classroom skills in a natural environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans, RBT supervision and training, and other behavior-related tasks. The BCBA will collaborate across a variety of disciplines including BCBAs, RBTs, teachers, certified special education teachers, OT, and SLP.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a caseload of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Conduct functional behavior assessments/analyses as needed
- Conduct skills assessments as needed and report results accurately (including but not limited to: VBMAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, EFL, etc)
- Develop individualized treatment plans and a variety of programs based on individual client assessments
- Develop behavior intervention plans for clients in a timely and efficient manner
- Train, model, and provide feedback to caregivers and staff on the implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Monitor client progress through data analysis and adjust programming as needed
- Analyze and interpret data on the occurrence of target behaviors and replacement behaviors
- Complete summaries/reports/updates within the requirements of funding source
- Complete detailed service logs documenting how services were delivered
- Provide supervision, competency assessments, and oversight to RBTs on a continual basis
- Provide the number of supervision hours requested on a weekly basis
- Collaborate with all clinical and operational team members
- Coordinate services with clients’ outside providers
- Provide 1:1 therapy if schedule requires
- Assist with RBT reviews
- Maintain certification by obtaining necessary continuing education credits (CEUs) as specified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA)
- Adhere to the BACB’s code of ethics and MMAT code of conduct
Additional Responsibilities
- IEP development in collaboration with special education teacher
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary professionals
- Liaison between school district regarding parent/teacher conferences
- State and local funding initiatives regarding Autism
- Coordinate with staff
- Assist with new hire orientation
- Assist with daily opening and closing

- Attend and lead team meetings and trainings as required
- Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and writing
- Must maintain a professional appearance with regard to clothing, grooming, hair, and make-up
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 2-year experience with children/adolescents with autism and/or developmental disabilities
- Must possess strong communication skills, verbal and written
Education:
- Must have a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology or related field
- Must have BCBA certification
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Provides a minimum 10% of supervision weekly for each client on given caseload
- Provides 5% supervision for RBT assigned to clients on given caseload
- Completes formal feedback scoring for each RBT once a month
- Completes all supervision session notes weekly
- Completes all reassessments for clients and submits to clinical supervisor 3 weeks prior to authorization due date
- Conducts 1 parent meeting per client each month
