Job Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Clinic-Based

Full-Time | On-Site | Early Intervention Focus
Total Compensation: Up to $120,000

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a growing, clinician-led ABA provider focused on delivering high-quality, play-based therapy for children with autism. This organization is intentionally building a model centered around smaller caseloads, meaningful caregiver collaboration, and strong clinical support.

With multiple clinic locations and continued expansion, they are actively hiring BCBAs to support growth while maintaining a low caseload, high-quality care model.

This is a strong fit for clinicians who want to step away from high-volume environments and focus on clinical impact, collaboration, and sustainable workloads.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage a low caseload (typically 5–8 clients)
  • Maintain ~28 billable hours per week
  • Provide 12–15% supervision per client (above industry average)
  • Lead weekly caregiver collaboration sessions (in clinic, home, or telehealth)
  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing program modifications
  • Supervise and mentor RBTs and/or mid-level clinicians
  • Collaborate with a clinical leadership team focused on outcomes and quality care

Clinical Model & Environment

  • 100% play-based, naturalistic ABA approach (NDBI, PRT, JASPER)
  • Early intervention population (primarily ages 2–9)
  • Intensive treatment model (many full-day programs)
  • Clinic-based services with community and in-home caregiver support (no direct in-home therapy)
  • High level of clinical autonomy with strong leadership support

This is not a “billables-first” environment — the focus is on quality outcomes, not volume.

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Clinic hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
  • No required evenings or weekends
  • Optional flexible scheduling for caregiver sessions (with flex time)
  • Opportunity for hybrid flexibility over time, based on performance and tenure

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total Compensation: Up to $120,000 (based on experience and overall package)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match (after eligibility period)
  • PTO + separate sick time (flexibility for experienced hires)
  • CEU support and license reimbursement
  • Strong administrative support (scheduling, authorizations, parent coordination handled for you)

Support & Infrastructure

  • Dedicated center-based admin team handling non-clinical responsibilities
  • AI-supported documentation platform designed to reduce admin burden
  • Structured support from experienced clinical leadership
  • Mix of 2-tier and 3-tier supervision models depending on experience

Growth Opportunities

As the organization continues to expand, BCBAs can grow into:

  • Lead BCBA roles
  • Clinical Director positions
  • Specialized tracks (training, caregiver programs, mentorship, etc.)

Leadership is open to creating roles around clinician strengths and interests, not forcing rigid career paths.

What We’re Looking For

  • Active BCBA certification (AZ LBA or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Open to play-based, naturalistic ABA approaches
  • Dependable, collaborative, and clinically driven
  • Passion for caregiver involvement and early intervention

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Low caseload model (rare in today’s market)
  • Higher supervision standards → better clinical outcomes
  • Play-based model vs. rigid DTT-heavy environments
  • High admin support → less burnout
  • Flexible, clinician-first culture
