We are conducting a confidential search for a growing, center-based ABA provider in the Norwalk, CT area seeking a Clinical Director (BCBA) to lead one of their early intervention clinics.
This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a BCBA who wants to step out of a heavy billable model and focus on mentorship, clinical quality, and operational leadership as the clinic continues to grow.
💼 Position Overview
- Title: Clinical Director (BCBA)
- Location: Norwalk, CT (center-based)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 base salary + bonus
- Setting: Early intervention (ages 2–10)

🧠 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all clinical programming and ensure treatment integrity across the center
- Conduct and guide assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R/AFLS, Vineland)
- Supervise and mentor BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff
- Lead parent training and maintain strong family communication
- Analyze client progress and adjust programming based on data
- Ensure compliance with insurance requirements, documentation standards, and audits
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development
- Lead team meetings, performance reviews, and clinical initiatives
✅ Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification and Connecticut licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Master’s degree in ABA or related field
- 5+ years of BCBA experience preferred, with leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong background in early intervention and center-based services preferred
- Experience supervising clinical staff and managing program quality
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
