Field-Based BCBA – Hartford, Connecticut

Location: Hartford and surrounding communities
Base Salary: $87,000–$98,000
Bonus Potential: Up to $12,000 annually
Schedule: Full-time
Service Settings: In-home and school-based

Recruit ABA is representing a well-established, BCBA-led autism services provider seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the greater Hartford area.

This is a field-based opportunity for a BCBA who values clinical autonomy, accessible leadership, and the ability to support children in the natural environments where they live and learn. Services are primarily provided in clients’ homes and schools within a locally assigned territory.

This is not a clinic-based position.

Compensation

  • Base salary up to $95K ( potentially more for well qualified candidates)
  • Up to $12,000 in annual incentive potential

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Supervise and support RBTs and behavior technicians
  • Monitor client progress and adjust programming using clinical data
  • Lead caregiver training to help families build practical, lasting skills
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other members of each client’s care team
  • Deliver services primarily in clients’ homes and schools
  • Maintain documentation consistent with clinical, ethical, and payer requirements

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field
  • Active Connecticut behavior analyst license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience supporting children and families affected by autism
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between clients’ homes and schools
