Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Chesapeake & Virginia Beach, VA
Location: Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, Virginia
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Service Options: Center-based or hybrid center/field-based
Annual Compensation: up to $117,000 in combined base salary and quarterly performance bonuses
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Recruit ABA is representing a well-established, BCBA-led autism services organization seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.
Multiple service models are available. Depending on your experience, preferences, and the organization’s current needs, you may work primarily in a center or in a hybrid position combining center-based services with support in clients’ homes and schools.

- Competitive base salary

Service Options
Center-Based
Provide consistent, collaborative ABA services within a structured clinical environment alongside behavior technicians, fellow clinicians, and operational support.
Hybrid Center and Field-Based
Combine center-based responsibilities with services delivered in clients’ homes and schools. This model allows BCBAs to support skill development and behavior change across the environments where children live, learn, and interact.
Specific schedules, caseloads, and service-area expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide ongoing clinical oversight for assigned clients
- Supervise, train, and support RBTs and behavior technicians
- Analyze clinical data and adjust programming based on client progress
- Provide meaningful caregiver training and support
- Collaborate with families, educators, therapists, and other members of each client’s care team
- Help ensure treatment integrity, clinical quality, and ethical service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and payer requirements
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and professional-development opportunities

Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related discipline
- Virginia behavior analyst license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience supporting children with autism or related developmental needs
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to supervise and develop behavior technicians
- Reliable transportation for positions that include home- or school-based services
