BCBA/Clinical Supervisor – Job Description and Responsibilities

Job Description:

The BCBA/Clinical Supervisor will be a leadership role and will provide clinical direction to an assigned team of Registered Behavior Technicians while also managing an assigned caseload.

The role will involve necessary client assessments, treatment planning, and case management, as well as prescribed clinical direction and parent/caregiver training requirements. They will also conduct regular supervision meetings with their team members to monitor progress and provide clinical support and guidance to employees and their assigned caseload.

They will provide direct coverage when needed and monitor scheduling and cancellations to ensure their team is achieving outlined goals and meeting client needs.

General Responsibilities:

Case management, clinical direction, caregiver training

    • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned caseload for direct reports and parents
    • Minimum target of prescribed clinical direction and caregiver training hours weekly/monthly based on caseload
    • Complete initial assessments and reauthorization reports for assigned caseload.
  • Team management
    • Daily management of direct reports including attendance and delivery of clinically prescribed hours
    • Provide regular competencies for new hire RBTs and established RBTs
    • Provide positive and corrective feedback, documenting instances for direct reports and implement disciplinary contingencies as needed
    • Proactively manage and develop RBT staff including and regular performance reviews
  • Direct coverage and scheduling modification on the fly
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

• Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field

• Valid certification as a BCBA
