This clinic and in-home based organization, utilizes the principles of daily routine-based ABA therapy believes in providing training and support that empowers families. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an emerging company who with dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of their clients.

LOCATION: Focused within the Kissimmee / 34747 zip code area. Services are provided primarily in-Home and at times in clinic settings with clients

Hours: This is a full time opportunity, $20hrs per week, M-F 9-6pm availability, 32+hrs per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Counsel and advise individuals or groups with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities
  • Develop and implement individual behavior plans
  • Teaching and training behavioral techniques to individuals and families
  • Monitor and report on progress and data
  • Educate families and groups

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Eligibility Checklist:

  • Time for training: (Registered Behavior Technician preferred) or commitment and ability to obtain the RBT certification in the first 3-4 weeks of employment.
  • Eligible to sit for the RBT exam: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, pass a Level 2 background check, complete a 40-hour training, and pass a competency assessment.
  • Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license are required to protect personal health information from being compromised during in-home sessions.
  • Physical requirements: critical to keep both you and our clients out of harm’s way. You must be physically capable of performing various activities such as running, sitting, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 30 lbs. You must also be able to administer first aid and CPR in emergencies.
  • Experience: You should have prior knowledge of autism or other developmental disorders and experience with children or teens.
